Diffbot - changing your bookmarks for the better

If, like me, you browse the interweb with more than one browser or different computers day to day you'll love Diffbot. It's a way of storing your bookmarks online from any browser then accessing them from any combination of browser/computer that you may need, subject to the ones they support of course. Currently supported though are Firefox, Internet Exporer (boo), Opera and Safari which is most of the commonly used ones.

In addition to storing your bookmarks is a cool feature that checks back with your bookmarked sites to see if they have been updated. So again, if you're like me and check a ton of news and sport websites daily this will update you with the actual websites you need to check. Cool huh?

Not visible yet but there all the same is the TeamSport90 Community Forum. We'll be using this as a source of information for the TeamSport90 Community as well as some other projects we have in the pipeline.

This is where the product testers can post their results and also an area for football discussion in general.

Keep your eye here on the blog for more announcements!

It's only a scratch....

Ever had one of those really gross sporting injuries? Even better did you or one of your mates get a photo of it? If so then you could win a prize from us at TeamSport90.

Each month we'll be giving a prize away for free to the best photo of an injury. That's providing our panel of experts think it's gross enough of course (yes, we've seen some stuff man). We'll be publishing these in the members area of our website and please, only send your photos, not ones you took from the internet. We also won't be accepting photo's of broken fingernails or twisted socks, you'll have to do better than that!

To enter the competition just register as a user (if you haven't already) then post your photos on the TeamSport90 Injury Corner Forum and you could be in with a chance of winning. How cool is that?

Local Unsung Hero nominated

One of our local clubs here in Lincolnshire has a very dedicated chairman. Brian Manson has received a nomination for the BBC Sports Unsung Hero 2008 award.

The Louth Leader had this to report;
Local footballing hero Brian Manson has been nominated for the BBC Sports Unsung Hero 2008 award. The club chairman of Theddlethorpe FC and junior football development chairman of Louth United has been nominated for his ‘unbelievable commitment’.

While Louth United had some brilliant words of support for Brian;
Brian has earned this nomination for his immense hard work and dedication over the last 4 years at Theddlethorpe FC and of course his continued hard work with Louth Utd FC in the development of junior football at Marshlands.

Even Lincoln City FC got in on the act!

Although Brian didn't get through to the final stage of the Unsung Heroes award he can be very proud of his achievements and unwavering support for the clubs that he runs. Well done Brian!

This is England/Scotland/Wales!

Well 'virtually' anyway. Noticed how almost every country in the world has it's own personal domain name extension? Well did you also notice that England, Scotland and Wales don't have one? Anyone thinking that .uk is good enough for all three separate countries, look away now.

Three separate domain campaigns are running (one for each) and asking for petitions to be signed. And you lucky people don't have to look far to find them as I've listed them below for you.

Show your support by visiting .eng, .sco and .cym to recover your country's online identity!

Football just got a lot sexier

Kerry Louise Love from Skegness
"Is that possible?" I hear you ask. Well yes, quite frankly it is. To improve said sexiness our mates over at UK Football Finders have launched 'The Sexy Football League'.

All you have to do is choose your preference between the gorgeous women (one gorgeous lady, Kerry Louise Love, pictured left) to give their football team points. The team of beautiful ladies with the highest points each month gets £200 worth of Topshop vouchers!

So head over to Uk Football Finders and get voting now as winter is coming and these girls will need some warm clothes!

The referees' a *#$^<~ !

We've all heard the chant, even chanted it, agreed or disagreed with it, but only the select few get to be on the recieving end of it.

But here at TeamSport90 we don't judge. What we do do is stock a great line of Referees kit and equipment for match officials. So whether you act the part or not, you'll always look the part.

Product Testers - watch out for the Postman!

Don't panic! We've not sent some deranged axe-wielding post-apocalyptic postie around to your house. But we have sent all of our first round testers (who replied to our invitation) their first product in the post to test.

If you applied to be a tester and haven't received the email invitation to confirm your postal address then please check your junk/spam folder, these were sent last week and we'd really like to hear back from you to see if you still want to be a tester.

Check out the news section at TeamSport90 for more info.

Fair Team Play

Ever notice that when you're down the pub with your mates there's always that one guy that runs out of money right when it's his turn to buy a round?

Did you also notice that there's always one guy at work that seems to be "out sick" on the days when they're collecting for the staff fund?

And isn't it just your luck that there's one guy on your football team that always forgets his wallet at home when it comes time to pitch in for new gear?

Don't feel alone. We all know "that guy".

Well, they can't do much about him stiffing you at the pub and at work but Managing Director, Mike Smith and the rest of us at TeamSport90 have come up with a way to help you avoid being stiffed on the field.

All you have to do is log on to TeamSport90 and register for a free membership. Now you have a way to order all the gear for everyone on the team and if you don't get the money then you don't place the order. It's that simple. This will help take the stress off the person on your team who takes care of these details and it'll also make everyone on the team responsible for themselves.

Want another great reason to sign up? Here's two! It's FREE and it also includes a tracking system of your outstanding orders and order history, great online offers, games and so much more! Okay, that was more like five great reasons. Seriously, it's fantastic and you should check it out right now at TeamSport90.com.

"That guy" will definitely get the point when he's the only one on the team to show up for the game in last years kit.

Always looking for ways to make your life easier, TeamSport90 - UK's Premier Team Kit Supplier.

Product Testers - The 1st Round is over

Many thanks to all who applied to be our new Product Testers. The response was amazing! It's a shame that we can't accept you all as our Testers, budgets wouldn't allow it and I think the accounts department would blow a fuse if we did! In reality anyone who has bought something from us has the right to have their say here or by rating us at Google Checkout if that process was used to buy.

To update our readers though, the initial selection is done and the successful testers will be receiving their first product in the post in the next few days.

Keep an eye on this blog and also at Teamsport90.com for more news and to read the Testers' reports as we get them!
